A secluded single-island atoll at the southern tip of the Maldives, known worldwide for tiger sharks that appear here reliably year-round — a rarity even by Maldivian standards. Dives suit beginners too: divers without a certification can join a DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) session with an instructor, and training and certification are available right on the island. It also has surf spots, but strong currents and demanding wave conditions make them suitable for experienced surfers only.
